Roisin

Roisin is a visiting specialist practitioner.

Roisin trained at Drama Centre London, graduating with a first class degree in acting.

Theatre work includes seasons at: The Orange Tree Theatre, Farnham Rep, The Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough and performances at Chickenshed Theatre in North London, B.A.C, Leicester Square Theatre and Soho Theatre. Roisin has toured with physical theatre productions including Border Crossings, The Kosh, Dante or Die and Trestle Theatre Company. Roisin is one third of sketch trio Rule of Three for whom she has written and performed shows in Edinburgh and London including at The Arts Theatre, The Underbelly, Gilded Balloon and The Comedy Store London.

As a teacher of acting, movement and improvisation Roisin has taught at many adult and youth theatre groups and schools and currently teaches on courses at LSDA, Fourth Monkey Theatre Company and has recently been invited back to Drama Centre to work with Vakhtangov technique specialist Oleg Mirochnikov and assist him in his teaching.

Roisin is a founder member of Theatre Company 'Prams in the Hall'. She also writes and directs, she has been awarded Peggy Ramsay grants for several theatre productions, is a regular contributor to The Soho Theatre's Comedy Project  and has had scripts in development at the BBC and King Bert productions. She has recently received her first script commission from BBC radio comedy.
